Let's Talk Music Follow
It's no secret that music is a huge part of our classes, so let's discuss music platforms for your upcoming training. Although we have the option of importing your playlists to partner with your class designs, there is no actual music 'integration' in our app. We simply call out to the sources using API commands. (For clarity, an API is simply a connection or interface between software products that allows them to communicate and interact.)
Please be aware of the settings, nuances, and limitations of each platform, as any issues you have with the music app will need to be handled in the music app, not the MOWL® app.
If your preferred music platform is not listed below, simply play your music separately from the MOWL® app. Have your playlist ready to go on your separate device, and press play on your first song as the 'Go' fades out of the countdown timer in the MOWL® app.
Below are the options that we currently connect with through an API. Each have articles in the Help Center to give you more information.
Spotify: If you have a premium account with Spotify, your music can be imported into the IC app. Refer to THIS ARTICLE for basic instructions on the import. THIS ARTICLE gives some of the common errors instructors face with this partnership. Lastly, please be prepared to log into your Spotify account to practice this integration in the training.
Dropbox: If Dropbox is your music platform , please refer to THIS ARTICLE to learn about importing your Dropbox music in the app. Please be prepared to log into your Dropbox account to use this in the training, if applicable.
Swedebeat: If Swedebeat is your platform of choice, please refer to THIS ARTICLE to learn about importing the Swedebeat music in the app. Please be prepared to log into your Swedebeat account to use this in the training, if applicable.
