How to Connect to a Stages Bike Follow

On a Stages bike you can connect directly to the Power Meter if it's an SC3 or SC2 with a Power Meter.  If you have a bike that has both a Power Meter and a Console, your app can also connect to the Console.  Keep in mind that once you turn on the console, it has taken the Bluetooth signal from the Power Meter, so connecting to the Console will be your only option.  To connect directly to the Power Meter, refrain from turning on the Console. Below are instructions guiding you through both options.

CONNECT TO THE POWER METER 

1. Begin pedaling to wake up the power meter (PM).
2. Find the 5-digit ID# from the power meter on the bike label.
3. Open the Intelligent Cycling app and tap on the Bluetooth icon in the lower right corner.
4. Scroll through the list and tap on the matching ID# to connect.
5. Tap the green Continue button on the bottom of the page.

CONNECT TO THE CONSOLE

If the console has turned on, it has taken the Bluetooth signal from the PM, so you'll need to connect to the console.

1. Find the Bike# on the top left of your console
2. In the Intelligent Cycling app, scroll to find the Stages IC Bike# that matches your bike (The Stages console broadcasts both a HR signal and a Bike signal, so be sure to connect to the ‘Bike’.)
3. Tap the green ‘Continue’ box on the bottom of the page.
